10 Best TV Shows Of The Decade!

As this deacde comes to an end, we can't help but think of all the amazing shows that were produced. Here are Next Jeneration's picks for the top 10 best tv shows from 2010 to 2019! Let us know if you agree or disagree!

1. Breaking Bad

This show have been one of the MOST popular shows throughout the entire decade. The show follows Walter White, a meek high school science teacher who transforms into a ruthless player in the local methamphetamine drug trade, driven by a desire to provide for his family after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. The cast includes Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn, Dean Norris and more!

2. Atlanta

Atlanta is a comedy-drama television series about two cousins -- Earnest "Earn" Marks who is a broke Princeton dropout (Donald Glover) and Alfred "Paper Boi" Miles (Brian Tyree Henry) who navigate the ATL rap scene to improve their lives and the lives of their families.

Donald Glover shows off his skills as he is the writer, executive producer, and director of Atlanta. The show aired in 2016 and has recently been renewed for a fourth season.

3. The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is based on the comic book series that was written by Robert Kirkman.

This drama and horror television show follows a group of survivors during a zombie apocalypse and through their search to safety. The first episode aired in October of 2010 and currently has 10 seasons.

4. Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. The show is based on the A Song of Ice and Fire book where two powerful families of kings, queens and knights play a deadly game for control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and to sit atop if the Iron Throne. The show first aired in 2011 and ended this year, but was one of the BEST shows this decade.

5. The Americans

This FX original series is about two KGB spies – Philip and Elizabeth Jennings – who are in an arranged marriage. The couple is posing as Americans in Washington D.C. where things become a little more complicated during the Cold War and when FBI agent Stan Beeman moves into the neighborhood. The show stars Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Keidrich Sellati plus a whole lot more!  The Americans was created by former CIA agent Joe Weisberg. How cool is that!

6. Bobs Burgers

One of the most hilarious television series this decade was definitely Bob’s Burgers. The animated sitcom was created by Loren Bouchard and characters are voiced over by stars that include Kristen Schaal, Dan Mintz, H. Jon Benjamin, Eugene Mirman and John Roberts. The series follows the Belcher family – the parents Bob and Linda and their three children Tina, Louise and Gene – who run a hamburger restaurant. When the show first premiered, it became the highest-rated series premiere of the season with 9.39 million viewers. If you haven’t seen the show (which would be hard to believe), you are missing out!

7. Stranger Things

This show easily became one of the most popular so fast. The Duffer Brothers created the Netflix show about a group of young friends who witness supernatural forces and secret government exploits. The story takes place in the fictional rural town of Hawkins, Indiana and as the friends search for answers, they reveal a series of extraordinary mysteries. The cast includes talented children; for example Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and more.

8. Veep

Veep was created by Armando Iannucci as an adaptation to The Thick of It. The comedy television series is about a fictional Vice President -- Selina Meyer -- and her team who attempt to leave a legacy without the influence of the political games. Veep aired in 2012 and quickly won the Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding Comedy Series, Writers Guild of America Award for Television Comedy Series and Television Critics Association Award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.

9. Black Mirror

Charlie Brooker is the creator of the science fiction anthology tv series. The show explores a twisted, high-tech near-future where humanity's greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide. Each episode of Black Mirror is completely different and features its own story and characters. Many stars have appeared on episodes including Tom Cullen, Jerome Flynn, Bryce Dallas Howard, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright and more.
