‘Avengers: Endgame’ Is Expected To Break Box Office Records!

By: Kayla Reyes

Avengers: Endgame might be the last movie to break the opening weekend records domestically and worldwide!

The superhero movie by Disney and Marvel officially premieres this weekend on April 26th. It is expected for the movie to break records domestically, internationally, and globally. Avengers: Endgame has already sold more advanced tickets in the first 24 hours than any picture in history surpassing all pre-sale records!

“AMC guests have already purchased more tickets to ‘Avengers: Endgame’ than we’ve ever sold in advance of a film’s release — and our first shows aren’t until Thursday evening,” said Elizabeth Frank, AMC’s executive VP of worldwide programming.

In North America, the release is set in over 4,600 theaters and has a projection of $270 million to $300 million in the first three days. If the predictions uphold, Avengers: Endgame will become one of the six films to hit over $200 million in the opening weekend and make history as the biggest domestic debut of all time! Unlike Avengers: Infinity the Endgame will open on the same day and date in China which means the Endgame can easily beat the record and hit $1 billion in less than a week in release.

You may think why this 3 hour superhero movie is expected to be so successful. It has been eleven years of unpredicted narratives that made fans laugh, cry and invest into the characters and storyline. Fans gravitate towards the superhero movie that allow them to feel a part of the journey. The Endgame is definitely not any different. Avengers: Endgame is one of the most anticipated movies and picks up directly after Avengers: Infinity War which was also a very successful movie. Now, the surviving Avengers must take down Thanos and save the universe!

Let us know if you will be watching in theaters this weekend!
