You go girl! Lilly Singh is set to become the first LGBTQ person and woman of color to host a late-night show! She will be taking over Carson Daly’s late-night time slot on NBC beginning this September with her show A Little Late with Lilly Singh. The show will include sketch comedies and on-air interviews.

Lilly Singh is an Indian-Canadian YouTube star with over 14 million subscribers! She started her YouTube career in 2010 and her videos include content such as music video parodies, rants about dating apps and much more! She also wrote New York Times’ bestseller, How to Be a Bawse: A Guide To Conquering Life in 2017.

Singh made the announcement on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and on her YouTube channel. She expressed, “A huge shoutout to all the women who have been before me and are currently in the space, because I couldn’t have done it without them paving the path.”

Doug Vaughan, NBC Entertainment Executive Vice President, stated "Lilly is truly a star and we’re thrilled to welcome her to our NBC family. She is a multi-talented performer who will surely have a great rapport with not only all her guests but also with our devoted late-night audience. We can't wait to get started."

We are extremely excited for Lilly Singh. She is definitely a girl boss! We can’t wait to see what she brings to her show.
