Netflix is teaming up with DreamWorks Animation for a new animated series called Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous through the Jurassic Park franchise. The film will debut in 2020 and will follow the timeline from the 2015 feature film.

The series centers around a group of six teenagers who were chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar. When the dinosaurs wreak havoc around the island, the teens become stranded and have no choice but to work together to survive!

Serving as showrunners for the series are Scott Kreamer and Lane Lueras. They will also executive produce along with Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Colin Trevorrow. Zack Stentz will serve as the consulting producer.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is the latest from Netflix and DreamWorks Animation's five-year deal, so we are looking forward to seeing how this turns out!
