Netflix Cancels 'Orange Is The New Black' [VIDEO]

Looks like we will need to find a new show to binge watch. Netflix announced that after season 7, the original series- Orange is The New Black will not be returning. This news came as a surprised to many fans around the world, but as we know- all good things must come to an end.

The Netflix original series debut back in 2013, and fans have been hooked ever since. It’s reported that OITNB drew Netflix’s largest audience with this original series.

The show took place in a prison, and is centered around a women in her mid-30s who is ordered to spend time in a minimum-security prison. The series takes you through her experience behind bars. She makes friends, and we (the audience) honestly fell in love with the all female cast.

he show is critically acclaimed so the cancellation is a shocker. The show will end after its seventh season, which is set to premiere the summer of 2019.

After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison, stated series creator Jenji Kohan. “I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but fade to black.”
