Four Indian directors Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee are teaming up for Ghost Stories. Ghost Stories is a Netflix anthology of four short horror films.

This is the second time the directors have linked up for a Netflix series. The first series was Lust Stories which centered around love, sex and relationships from the viewpoint of Indian women. At this time, there are not many details about the plot of the series; however, it is expected that each episode is to be connected and involve an interesting story.

All directors shared how they felt about the upcoming series. "I have always been mortified to watch the horror genre and have always stayed very far away from any ghost story! So to direct one is not only hugely challenging but also exceptionally exciting” stated Karan Johar.

Zoya Akhtar expressed she is looking forward to “bending genres and inverting tropes with a ghost story.”

"Ultimately we are entertainers, and there's nothing like a spine-chilling story, scaring the devil out of us while we're safely tucked in our sofa munching fries." says Dibaker.

Anurag Kashyap revealed, "I am really looking forward to challenging myself to make something that I have never attempted before. Also I have never prepared so much for anything before.”

As more details develop, we will keep you updated. As for now, we are super excited to see the directors team up again!
