In Ang Lee's Gemini Man, Will Smith plays both leading characters as he faces off with a younger clone of himself.
Gemini Man is a sci-fi film where Smith's character, Henry Brogan, is an assassin who is being targeted and eventually learns the opponent is a younger version of himself who can predict his every move! Through CGI de-aging technology, Smith is able to play the 50 year-old and the 23 year-old version of himself.
Gemini Man is directed by Ang Lee and written by Billy Ray, David Denioff, Darren Lemke, Andrew Niccol, Christopher Wilkinson, and Stephen J. Rivele. Alongside Smith are stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Benedict Wong, Clive Owen, Theodora Miranne and more.
Smith expressed, "The emotional and physical challenges of making this film have been the most demanding of my career. This is not only an action film, but an exploration of what one's younger self can ultimately teach one's older self."
